Sitting pretty in Union Pier, Townie Cottages evokes a warm and inviting feeling to welcome guests as they retreat for a home away from home.

Whilst each cottage interior leads with an individual colour palette that sets the tone for the furniture, the aesthetic across each is a neutral affair with earthy hues drawing inspiration from the shoreline.

Throughout the collection of cottages, pieces from our Arbar, Queslett and Digbeth collections were specified to bring beautiful harmony throughout the kitchen and bathroom designs. This design decision also applied to other elements of the interior with lighting pieces by Hudson Valley appearing in varying sizes reflective of the scale of each space.

Designer Jann Eckert shared, “Each interior stands independently, yet when you look closely, they all connect seamlessly. Whilst functional, accessories are an excellent way to bring individuality and texture to a space and create a united aesthetic.”

A truly serene setting for vacations, in this kitchen, taupe tones are paired with timeless white oak and glowing brass. Radiant and inviting, the styling of the space demonstrates that less is more, instead lending the focus to the beauty of the materials and craftsmanship across the build, fixtures and fittings.

Checkerboard tiles add character to the walls making a subtle statement in the contemporary interior. This also achieves a two-tone appeal with the tiles signifying clear definition beside the joinery.

Showcasing the art of mastering the modern coastal aesthetic, this cottage bathroom is punctuated by aged brass accents, tongue and groove panelling and striped linens to achieve a luxurious yet relaxed look.

Situated in each cottage bathroom, our Digbeth Hooks provide a modern and refined storage option to neatly store robes and towels. Designer Jann notes, “We opted for a lacquered finish for the hardware to give the pieces more durability.”

In another of the cottages, mellow mushroom tones bring to life the contemporary vanity. A warm grey-meets-brown shade, this cocooning colour is perfect for creating a calm and natural mood in the bathroom.
